Special issue of Spektrum der Wissenschaft on "Rituals – What Binds our Lives"

We would like to draw your attention to the title Rituale - Was unser Leben zusammenhält which has been published by Spektrum der Wissenschaft.

 

The issue goes back to the 14th Berliner Kolloquium hosted by the Gottlieb Daimler und Karl Benz Foundation entitled "Wozu braucht es Rituale? Kulturwissenschaftliche und neurobiologische Perspektiven" in 2010 and is dedicated to the topic of "rituals" vis-à-vis such topics as power, love, memory, and rituals in the medium of the Internet – all in the light of current brain research and work in the field of evolutionary biology.
